Something Fresh From San Fran

ATLAS is a new group which I have been listening to. They're based in San Francisco, and, in my opinion, they represent the city rather well. The band consists of Jason Gaffner, Dan Elbert, Michael Manke, Reid Kurks, Max Cowan, and Walker Johnson. The group has said this about their music:

“We were really inspired by electronic music and thought as musicians it’d be really fun to do our own versions of some of our favorite electronic tunes, and just arrange it in a way that we thought would sound cool and emphasize the acoustic nature of live instruments.”

So far, the group has done covers of other songs. In the song located below, the group uses drums, guitars, and even a saxaphone. Their music is rather unique, and I thoroughly enjoyed this song. I hope you do as well.
